We had a very cool experience with TakeOut Comedy Caroling last night.
Probably X’mas hat was too ordinary to the comedians. You could find reindeers and Santa Claus in this small caroling team. Santa was a hard working person. Not only he was dressed in huge boots, heavy coat but also carrying a red bag to please kids and perhaps adults with candy canes. The Comedy has prepared 18 carols on the song sheet that I had to confess I know not more than half. Look at the comedians, they sang it out without any problems in words and rhythm.
The comedians did not publicize the Comedy in caroling. They were very professional to involve passengers to sing along and share the good news of X’mas.
Dec 12, Thursday was yet the peak day in Soho and LKF but people were already crowded in bars/restaurants and on the streets. Thanks to the two big mouth reindeers. Their voice did lead the team. (particularly me who sang once a year) However the reindeers were somehow out of control when they saw one young lady singing songs at the street corner of Central. The two reindeers crawled instead of walked towards the lady and gently looked at her by instinct. We collected a pretty big crowd right there when we jointly sang “Joy to the World”. Fortunately the reindeers didn’t lose the direction and came back to us to continue caroling.
At the end of the day, I found I could master the rhythm much better. Three glass friends and I enjoyed the night very much and had lots of fun.
