This is the first Summer visit Green Glass Green has ever organized in the past three year. The 2013 Summer visit was requested by Reba, the social worker of TKO Youth Space, HKFYG. Reba’s idea is to raise the glass recycling consciousness among family members: children and parents. The parents and children’s first exposure was to collect glass bottles at site and followed by the Eco-park and Eco-brick factory visit.
This unique visit not only with so many children from the Youth Space and also another Shatin St Christopher’s Home, there were also young participants from other walks and making the coach full.
A clear feedback from the participants is no more delay to save the recyclables and make HK a green city.
